Faculty Positions in Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics

The Computer Science & Engineering Department is seeking exceptional candidates for four tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor positions, including two positions in bioinformatics and computational genomics. The department is among the top 50 departments in the nation as per the latest NRC rankings. ISBRA’12

The 8th International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA’12) will be held in Dallas, Texas on May 21-23, 2012. The ISBRA symposium provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and results among researchers, developers, and practitioners working on all aspects of bioinformatics and computational biology and their applications. The deadline for submitting extended abstracts (LNBI proceedings) is February 6, 2012; for short abstracts (oral or poster presentation) the deadline is April 9, 2012. ISB Special Issue

In Silico Biology A special issue of In Silico Biology devoted to CAME’11 is scheduled for publication in July 2012. Authors are invited to submit full versions of their workshop papers by January 16, 2012. For detailed manuscript preparation and submission instructions see the CAME’11 website.
